A couple of weeks ago, I celebrated my birthday with Pete and the boys in Hopkinsville. We got a room for one night and let the boys swim that Saturday and Sunday. We went to church at Hopkinsville that morning and went back that night for a Seminary Fireside meeting. On Saturday, we took the boys to Fort Campbell to a museum. Cody and Lucas loved it! The boys and I had never been on an Army base before, so it was a different experience with the security part and a whole city inside. Pete had actually worked on that same Army base when Cody was a baby. So, we got to share with the boys that their daddy had worked there before. Pete and I enjoyed being away from home for a few days since we were very burnt out with work and the house decisions. I just wish we could've stayed a few more days, maybe next time.
