Last Saturday, we celebrated Lucas' 6 b-day at Chucky E. Cheese. He had two of his friends from school come, Jessica and Chance. He was very excited and surprised. The kids enjoyed pizza, games, and fun together. Jessica got him his first Hot Wheels contraption. It has a dinosaur on it, so he loves it! Chance got him some Star Wars Legos and Lucas loves anything that has to do with Star Wars. Thank you Chance and Jessica for coming to play with Lucas and for the gifts! Then, on Sunday after church, we celebrated again with family. Grandma Edna Lee, Papaw Ray, Nana, Aunt Britt, Popaw Randy, Papaw and Mamaw Moore, Cody, Mom and Dad were present to celebrate with Lucas. He got some more gifts which he also loved: Scooby Doo movie, Nerf swords, Star Wars light saber, money, Piranha Panic game, and a Viking Dress up set. Lucas was more than satisfied since he had only asked for one gift, the game. It's hard to believe Lucas is six. It seems like yesterday when he was a toddler. This year, Lucas has really came out of his shell. We've really mean able to tell his personality lots more. Two things that come to mind that have surfaced are 1) a lady's man and 2) a clothes man. Several teachers from school and church have warned me about Lucas and his charm with the girls. Yugh! He's only 6! One Sunday, he gave every cent he had ($3) to a girl his age who was upset about not having any money. Geez! Then, with his clothes, he is very specific with what he wears. He'll let you know if he's going to wear it or not. I wander what qualities Lucas is going to develop this coming year.
