New Family Member

On Friday, April 24, Pete and I traveled to Alabama to pick up Heidi, the newest member of our family. She is a red, piebald, miniature dachschund. She was born on my dad's birthday. We instantly fell in love with her, and she is already a vital member of our family. Scooby, our red miniature dachschund, has already bonded as well, maybe a little too much. Ha! Welcome Heidi. We are very happy you came to us.

Meet Christy

My name is Christy. I am a mother, daughter, sister, wife, friend, teacher, and librarian. I love to read, garden, and be outdoors. I love the country. I live in Kentucky on a farm with my husband, two sons, five dogs, and eight cows. We are getting ready to build a house on the farm. I will be happy when this is over. I'm very indecisive and dread making all the decisions that come with building a home. I recently attended a training where I learned how to blog. Hence, this is my first blogging experience.
