On Friday, April 24, Pete and I traveled to Alabama to pick up Heidi, the newest member of our family. She is a red, piebald, miniature dachschund. She was born on my dad's birthday. We instantly fell in love with her, and she is already a vital member of our family. Scooby, our red miniature dachschund, has already bonded as well, maybe a little too much. Ha! Welcome Heidi. We are very happy you came to us.
