Mother's Day

This morning we went to church as always. However, we left right after Sacrement to surprise Pete's Mamaw and Mom at their church. Boy, they were surprised! Their pastor gave a wonderful sermon on mothers being godly mothers and letting Christ's light shine through us to our children. I know I try to be a good mom but I know I have many things to work on. I have always said I'll never be able to be as good a mother as my mom. She was always smiling and singing, even when she was feeling bad. I'm bad about letting everyone know when I'm not in the best of spirits or feeling well. Yugh! After church, everyone came back to our us to eat. Randy and Papaw came up too. Then, several of us played Rook. It was beautiful outside today again. Thank you Lord, for the wonderful Mother's Day and beautiful weather.
