My oldest brother, Darrell, graduated from Western Kentucky University today. He is 43 years old. Christi, his wife, just had their 6th child on Thursday. It was another boy. They now have 5 boys and a girl. Whew! But, if anybody can do it, I know they can.
I'm glad Pete and I were able to go and watch the ceremony. Mom also went and looked very beautiful. She was actually glowing from being so proud of her son. Uncle David, Aunt Becky, and Paula came as well. They helped to keep the boys busy.
Well, I know Dad was there too grinning from ear to ear. I know he is very proud of his first born, as well as all 3 of his kids. All of us have graduated from college now and I know our parents had a lot to do with that. Darrell set a great example for all his kids today. Congrats Darrell! I love you. Pete and I are very proud of you.
I just noticed that you had commented on my blog site. It is very exciting to see other LDS people on here. Thanks for keeping in touch. We feel that we have a connection with you just because you are LDS. I am the YW President in my ward and we are going to girls camp next week. I have a son and daughter in law in Toledo Ohio going to Med School. That's as close as we get to Kentucky. Anyway I am going to do better at keeping my blog site up! Thanks for finding me!
